Dermaplaning is one easy step to velvety smooth skin

Do you want to achieve a deep exfoliation without peeling agents or any down time? We've added a new treatment to our spa menu called Dermaplaning.
Dermaplaning immediately rejuvenates the skin by removing the outermost layer of the dead skin cells and the fine facial hair called vellous hair, commonly known as "peach fuzz".
Dermaplaning is highly effective in smoothing rough, dry skin and minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, mild acne scarring and superficial hyper-pigmentation.
This is a great alternative treatment for those of you who have rosacea, sensitive skin or are pregnant or nursing, who want to stay away from microdermabration, peels or retinol products.
Using a scalpel and a delicate touch held at a 45 degree angle and using light feathering strokes, the surface of the skin is simply abraded.
Immediate gratification is achieved after your first treatment. You won't believe the difference! The skin takes on a healthier glow and will feel like velvet.
Your home care products will penetrate more readily into the deeper layers of your skin. Make-up applications will glide on.
If any of you are concerned about the superficial hair growing back heavier and darker...no worries. That's just an old wives tale. The vellous hair will return softly and grow back at the same rate and texture as before.
The normal skin growth cycle is around 30 days, so it's best to wait at least 4 weeks between treatments.
